Meridia Pulled From The U.S Market

Popular diet pill called Meridia is being pulled from the U.S market on October 9 2010. The FDA ask for the removal because Meridia was tied to 16% more major cardiovascular side effects in a study of 10,000 high-risk patients who were followed for as long as six years. Right now there are still around 100.000 people using Meridia in the U.S.

In Europe Meridia has been pulled from the market much earlier than in the U.S. Sales in Canada and Australia is also halted due to this event.

Other names for Meridia is: Sibutramine, Reductil, and Sibutrex. If you are using this product then we suggest that you immediately stop using it.
